Having a gorgeous ginger americano at Coffeedelia in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I love this place. Look at these chairs. I feel like a little kid, even though I’m currently polishing up my CV.
Off to Green Bazaar this afternoon, and hopefully to see a man about an opera, at the National Opera and Ballet Theater. Man, how I’ve missed good opera (Detroit has a fantastic opera house, so I was spoiled, Astana’s is… not so nice).

My students come in at lunch time to read, play educational games, and watch documentaries about endangered animals.
